Hi all,

Im looking for european based internetshops, who offer italian (FS) or austrain (ÖBB) Roco items for good prices.

We have the well-know big internet shopes like Lokshop, ETS, Kramm. Modelbahnecke, etc ... They are nice, are all based in germany, but all have about the same prices and productrange (mostly SBB or DB).

Then we have the more specialised shops, like Krois and Lippe who offer more Austrain models for good prices. Interesting.

Third we have the Ebay shops, an area with which I have no experience.

Thats about all I know about internet shops.

I was wondering if there are some shops that are really worthwhile, but that I have overlooked but do offer the items that I'm looking for? I mean, Roco is an Austrian brand. Wouldn't it be logical that there are some austrain internet shops who offer more competitive prices and a wider range?

Please let me know your experiences!

Regards,

Rinus

Was just in Wien, so try Memoba: http://www.memoba.at/. There are other shops there that I like like Tina's, but they are not setup as well for action at a distance.--MM

Rinus,

I have ordered some Italian items from tecnomodel-treni.it and from trenogheno.com (also trenogheno.it). There is also trenietreni.it.
I also ordered some (then) discontinued Roco Italian items (Eurofima "Bigrigio") directly from Gieffeci after my Swiss dealer said he could not order from them.

As far as Austrian models, there are some special models available from Memoba or Rainer (modellbahn.at). I have had no problems sourcing my RailTop, ACME and LSM models from shops like ETS or Huenerbein (Aachen).

Good hunting

Regards

rinus,
There are lots of specialized shops in Austria regarding Austrian locos but you may find there is a language barrier.

my internet explorer crashed and all the other shops and small producers got wiped off.
I'll give you an updated list later on.
I've included shops who also produce accessories
there is also a list of shops under: Eisenbahn forum Österreich
